Focus & Clarity Herbal Tea for ADHD Support

This tea blend is designed to enhance focus, calm restlessness, and support cognitive function, making it beneficial for those with ADHD.


Ingredients (per cup):

  • 1 teaspoon Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica) – Improves cognitive function and mental clarity
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) – Calms restlessness and anxiety
  • 1 teaspoon Ginkgo Biloba (Ginkgo biloba) – Enhances memory and focus by improving circulation to the brain
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint (Mentha × piperita) – Refreshes the mind and helps with mental fatigue
  • ½ teaspoon Holy Basil (Tulsi) (Ocimum sanctum) – Reduces stress and balances energy levels
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions:

  1. Combine the Herbs:
    • Mix all the dried herbs together in a small bowl.
    • Store in an airtight container for future use.
  2. Brew the Tea:
    • Place 1 tablespoon of the tea blend in a teapot or infuser.
    • Pour 1 cup of boiling water over the herbs.
    • Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Strain & Serve:
    • Strain out the herbs and drink warm.
    • Optional: Add honey or a splash of lemon for taste.

How to Use:

  • Drink 1–2 cups daily, preferably in the morning and early afternoon for sustained focus.
  • For best results, drink consistently over time.

Alternative Additions:

  • Rhodiola Rosea (Rhodiola rosea) – Helps with mental endurance and reduces brain fog.
  • Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) – Stabilizes blood sugar levels, which can help with focus.
  • Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) – Supports adrenal function and energy levels.

Precautions:

  • Ginkgo Biloba should be avoided if taking blood thinners.
  • Gotu Kola can cause drowsiness in high doses—adjust if necessary.
  • Always consult a healthcare provider before use, especially if taking ADHD medications.
